The Cell™ Knee Protection System is built on more than 10+ years of time-tested and proven designs. Several patented revolutionary design concepts come together in unison to create this System: the A.R.C. Cuff has the ability to be totally adjustable for fit, yet remain rigid; simple, low profile strapping; a natural free-motion, rolling-gliding hinge follows the natural movement of the knee; carbon fiber matrix, tibial plateau-capturing frame design provides strong, yet lightweight protection: brace-to-boot tether attachment helps prevent lower leg rotation; plus the full-time, full-coverage patella cup offers superior coverage. This Knee Protection System is truly decades ahead of all the rest.
CARBON-MATRIX FRAME: The frame is designed to accommodate the dynamics of the leg musculature, allowing the muscles to flex and relax without interference. Not only does this design keep the frame properly positioned on the leg, it does so without constricting the muscles as they pump.
A.R.C. CUFF: The adjustable retention control (ARC) cuff has the ability to adjust a custom fit, while at the same time, remaining firm and retentive.
GLIDE HINGE: Our patented asymmetrical eight sphere, four bar hinge mechanism is the only hinge available that actually tracks the natural "rolling-gliding", dual center rotation motion of the knee joint.
TELESCOPING PATELLA CUP: Our three piece, telescoping knee cup gives you full frontal coverage throughout full range of motion of the knee, many other patella cups start to gap when the knee starts to bend, leaving the knee vulnerable to direct impacts.
ANTI ROTATION TETHER: The Anti-Rotation tether is the most effective defense against this type of lower leg rotation.
IN THE BOX:
To ensure proper fit, circumference measurements should be taken on the skin with the leg straightened, using a soft tape measure. (If a soft tape measure is not available, a piece of string or yarn may be used, then measured against a hard tape measure.)
1. Locate the middle of the kneecap and measure around the leg.
2. Choose proper size from Circumference Chart below for the appropriate product.
